After releasing Remote Desktop 8, Microsoft today rolled out a new version of its OneNote application for iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad, delivering a few fixes.

Microsoft OneNote version 2.1.3 patches an issue when spell checking non-English words, and includes numerous other fixes for some minor bugs.

Microsoft OneNote is described as “a digital notebook for capturing what's important in your personal and professional life.” It’s basically a Microsoft-made Evernote, with a few extra features geared towards office work.

The Redmond company says you can use it to “Jot down your ideas, add pictures, update your shopping list, and check your to-do's from this Microsoft Office app.”

OneNote requires iOS 6 to run and is compatible with most iDevices. You need a free Microsoft account to use OneNote, and if you’re looking to sync your notes to SkyDrive Pro, you’ll need to sign in with your organization's Office 365 or SharePoint account.
