So Much Drama Studios has confirmed plans to release a video game based on the popular American teen comedy film Mean Girls. It’ll be out for iPhone “soon,” according to the developers.

A “tiara-defense” game, Mean Girls allows players to select from eight Mean Girls favorites, including Cady, Regina, Gretchen, Karen, Janis, Damian, Aaron, and Kevin. They each have their own distinct abilities.

You play through movie-inspired locations like the North Shore High School Cafeteria, Classroom, Football Field, and the Basketball Court, and collect hump day treats, peppermint foot cream, Kalteen bars, and pieces of the tiara, all with the single goal of improving your popularity.

Regardless of the clique you belong to, Mean Girls has a game mode for everyone,  including You Can’t Sit With Us, Social Suicide, She Doesn’t Even Go Here, and The Limit Does Not Exist. The Burn Book is in there as well, for who’s asking.

No system requirements or pricing information has been given yet, but you can expect this one to run on iOS 7 and higher, while the download will most likely be free. Expect tons of in-app purchases, if that’s the case. According to the press release, “Mean Girls is slated for release soon on mobile platforms.”
