AOL has released MapQuest 4.0.3 with bug fixes and a new ability to save a custom location on your iDevice. Customers who’ve yet to upgrade to MapQuest 4 are in for a visual delight.

MapQuest 4.0.3 is a bug-fix release which deals a blow to some crashes reported by users after making the jump to the fourth major release of the navigation app.

As an added bonus, AOL also bundled the new option to tap and hold anywhere on the map to save a custom location. The company says it will continue to listen to users’ feedback to improve the app, if necessary.

Users who’ve yet to upgrade to MapQuest 4 should prepare for a visual makeover in line with iOS7, precise vector maps, custom bookmarking, sharing, and advanced search capabilities. Download MapQuest 4 only on iDevices with iOS 7 installed.
