The Omni Group has announced a major update for OmniFocus 2 users on iPhone, offering improved stability and restoring support for links to projects, contexts, and perspectives.

The Omni Group says, “Our primary focus for this release has been to improve the stability of the app. Thank you to everyone who sent us crash reports!” The company then proceeds to outline all the code corrections (over half a dozen) that add up to make OmniFocus 2.1.1 rock solid.

As mentioned above, OmniFocus 2.1.1 also improves link handling. According to the developer, the update addresses “a regression in version 2.1's link handling which lost support for links to projects, contexts, and perspectives.”

To download OmniFocus 2.1.1 you need iOS 7.0 and a handset that can handle the firmware (starting with iPhone 4). The task management app is not cheap ($19.99 / €17.99), but those who use it are proud of their investment.
