Major League Baseball is gearing up for the 2013 baseball season with some fresh updates for iOS customers. MLB.com At Bat gives subscribers live audio access, while the Ballpark app features multiple enhancements, such as a re-architected My Journal section.

MLB.com At Bat 6.1.0 delivers “multi-platform live audio access for At Bat 13 subscribers (portable to Mac/PC with a valid MLB.com account),” according to MLB.com. iOS users get universal support, meaning the experience will be native to every device.

A new video section has been added featuring more highlights and search (iPad only), alongside sortable batting, pitching and fielding statistics (also iPad only), re-designed individual team pages (iPhone), an updated news section interface (iPhone), a classic games library, re-architected navigations, more flexible push notifications, and closed captioning.

MLB.com At the Ballpark 2.0 gets a redesigned UI with a new My Journal section, the ability to manually enter visits dating back to 2005, options to upload and share personal photos from your ballpark visits, team statistics, video highlights, Ballpark and player entrance music, an updated tickets section, as well as integration with Apple’s Passbook ticketing app.
