Apple appears to have managed to sort out any stock issues it might have had with the new 15-inch MacBook Pro with Retina display.

Following an initial shipping timeframe of over 4 weeks, the company has confirmed that it would be able to send new orders to customers in one to two weeks.

Both the 2.3 GHz and 2.6 GHz Retina display MacBook Pro machines are currently listed on the company’s website with the new, shorter shipping windows, but with the same prices as before: $2,199.00 (€1,814) for the former and $2,799.00 (€2,309) for the latter.

Apparently, some of Apple’s partner retailers, such as MacMall, even claim that they could do better than that, and that new orders would be shipped immediately.

The usual MacBook Pro models are listed at Apple as in stock and available for immediate shipping.
