Lumify 4.0 lets you sign up with your own email address (no Facebook needed), choose your own username, and finally personalize your profile with photos and bio. You get to @mention your friends too.
Social updates aside, the app’s music engine has been completely revamped to let you use as many songs as you like.
“Lumify continues to keep your scene transitions synced to the soundtrack magically,” says the developer.
You’ll be able to upload your movies to YouTube in 1080p HD directly (no more conversion), as well as share your work back in Lumify to get even more hits on your YouTube channel, in case you have one.
Editing workflow has been streamlined so you can more easily switch back and forth between managing your scenes. Previewing the final movie is also a much quicker affair now.
