Apple can’t seem to catch a break with the Maps fiasco, as more and more reports criticize its blunders with the flagship feature in iOS 6.

A hefty dose of humor can be had from the graphical glitches, including misplaced monuments. London Underground isn’t short for words when it comes to mocking the service.

Someone working at the transit system took the time to write on one of the signs, “For the benefit of passengers using Apple iOS 6, local area maps are available from the booking office.”

Apple this week released a statement to the press pointing out that Maps in iOS 6 is still a fledging app. The company promised to make it better over time, noting that Maps is a cloud-based service that improves itself through usage.

Apple may need to release an incremental iOS 6.1 soon to address some issues, though most tweaks are likely to happen on the server side.
