14 DAY TRIAL // Poynt Corporation has released a new version of its local search app that lets you find businesses, movies, restaurants, people, events, and offers.
The free app enables iPhone and iPod touch users to interact with their searches by calling up businesses, viewing movie trailers, reserving a table at a restaurant, mapping directions, etc.
Poynt version 1.7 brings back the Carousel feature (by popular demand), adds support for the iPhone 5’s four-inch display, and auto-updates results when the search location is changed.
Navigation is said to be simplified, and the update also includes a number of bug fixes.
Available in India, Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom, Italy, France, Spain, Australia, and Germany, Poynt requires iOS 5.0 and works with most iDevices out there.
