After posting monster earnings in the last quarter, LinkedIn CEO Jeff Weiner decided to reward all of his 3,500 employees with iPad minis. Not the low-end 16GB model either, but the 32GB version.

Consumer PR guy for LinkedIn Europe, Darain Faraz, mentioned the gesture on his Twitter stream. “That awesome moment when your CEO dishes out iPad minis to EVERY employee.”

A spokesperson then confirmed to Business Insider, “We wanted to acknowledge the hard work and accomplishments of all of our employees in 2012. During today’s biweekly All Hands meeting, we surprised our employees with iPad Minis as a small gesture of the company’s gratitude for their contributions”

One employee tells the site that the tablets were the $429 / €429, 32-gigabyte model, not the $329 / €329 version. That amounts to $1.5 million / €1.1 million.

LinkedIn reportedly posted an insane last quarter with $25 million in revenue.
