Cross-platform messaging app LINE from NAVER has been updated to version 3.4.0 which enables users to send stickers as gift cards to friends, and lets you choose whether to receive messages from linked apps.

You can now send stickers as gifts to friends, so long as you have the necessary loot to back your purchase. “Coins,” as the LINE currency is called, can only be used when sending gifts, says NAVER.

The updated app now lets you choose whether to receive messages from apps such as LINE Game, and other linked titles in the LINE ecosystem. And if you’re being spammed or harassed by someone from the chat-room, you can now file a report. No word on how the bad guy will actually suffer for his wrongdoing.

Other nifty additions include a new Profile popup design, Spanish translations and a new winter-style icon.
