If you’re like us, you probably love Imgur - the library of fun GIFs and memes that is always an excellent source of uninterrupted entertainment.
Well, as of this week, Imgur is getting a new, revamped app for iOS, replacing the older one which has now been pulled from the App Store.
The app makes browsing through images a lot easier, but those of you familiar with the website shouldn't expect to get a similar visual experience with the mobile alternative.
Instead of being shown a grid of tiny images you might want to click or not, the mobile Imgur app displays an endless row of cards.
Users can swipe side to side to advance through the images, and once they have identified one they want to examine more closely, they can tap on it.
The app lists what’s currently considered “most viral,” most “popular” or “newest,” so you can be sure you won’t miss what’s hottest. For Imgur fanatics, the app also offers a selection of random images and a feed of new submissions.
Intriguingly enough, the app doesn't allow users to upload new photographs, but this option will be added in a future update.
The new iOS app has been pushed out to celebrate Imgur’s sixth birthday.
