According to the makers of the video-on-demand service, you can “Start casting your favorite TV shows and Movies on Chromecast from Hulu Plus, now from your iPhone.” The feature requires iOS 6 (or a newer firmware version).
With Hulu Plus you can download unlimited instant streaming of current hit TV shows, via paid subscription. Examples include popular shows like Modern Family, The Office, Family Guy, and many others. You can also access classic series like Lost and Battlestar Galactica, and watching can be done over Wi-Fi, 3G, and 4G.
Hulu Plus still works on iPhone 3GS (and newer devices), according to its makers.
