If you think you’re being targeted by a spam center via iMessage, Apple has some simple instructions for you to report the unwanted texts.

In a new KB article posted on its Support site, Apple says that, if you want to report unwanted iMessages to Apple, all you need to do is send an email to [email protected] containing a screenshot of the message, the number it came from, and the time and date the spam message arrived.

The document describes how to take screenshots on both iOS and OS X (for those who use the iMessages application on their desktop Mac), as well as how to distinguish regular text messages from iMessages.

Apple says you can also report unwanted SMS and MMS type messages to your cellular provider.

So now you know what to do to get rid of those pesky spam texts on your iDevice or Mac.
