Early adopters of iTunes Radio are curious to know how they can stop the incoming flow of ads. For those of you asking the same thing, the solution is simpler than you might have thought.

You don’t need to go through various steps and commands to get rid of the ads. Instead, you just need to pay Apple its iTunes Match fee which “will provide the added benefit of ad-free iTunes Radio,” according to the FAQ.

Customers who already have an iTunes Match subscription can remove ads from iTunes Radio by turning on this service in Settings > Music on their iOS device, or by choosing Store > Turn On iTunes Match in iTunes on their desktop computer.

An iTunes Match subscription stores all your music in the cloud, making it accessible on all your iCloud-enabled devices anytime, anywhere.

iTunes Match also determines which songs in your collection are available in the iTunes Store and any music with a match is automatically added to your library (with 256-Kbps AAC DRM-free quality). Instead of uploading everything you have to the cloud, it just copies what it can’t find in the iTunes Store.
