Dutch designer Martin Hajek takes another swing at Apple products

With no rumors left to convey into 3D mockups, talented designer Martin Hajek decided to fill the void by creating a new version of the just-launched Mac Pro.

Apple makes the 2013 Mac Pro’s shell from a single slab of aluminum which goes through an insane process and eventually comes out as a hallow cylinder coated in black paint.

The thing is undoubtedly a looker, but Hajek decided to design one with a gold finish, to see how it looks. In all fairness, Apple could have easily shipped these systems in various different colors, as some features become more visible (even more appealing) when they’re not hidden by the dark paint.

A gallery can be found below (and the rest of the images are available on Hajek’s blog). Peek through and tell me what you think of the new color. Should Apple do it?
