Apple has teamed up with Hearst Corporation, one of America’s largest diversified media and information companies, to exclusively offer magazines like Cosmopolitan, Esquire, Elle, Popular Mechanics and Seventeen in Newsstand days before anyone else.

According to TechCrunch, the exclusive arrangement means each Hearst title will be available on the iOS Newsstand at least a few days ahead of other online storefronts, such as Amazon’s Kindle marketplace.

Both existing subscribers and newcomers will get early access, sources told the site. The interesting thing is that Newsstand users will be able to get a peek at the new magazine issues even before the print versions come out. How cool is that?

Access the Read Them Here First section of the iTunes Store to download the Hearst magazines onto your iOS device. There’s a good chance this new partnership between Apple and Hearst will spawn new (exclusive) collaborations between the Cupertino giant and other major publishers.
