Meeting to take place at Caffe Macs, at Apple’s Cupertino campus

If you’re just dying to ask Tim Cook if Apple is launching that iWatch already, all you need is about a hundred thou’ and a clear schedule on May 13, 2014. That is, if no one else outbids you, in which case you’ll have to consider a bigger donation.

As you might have already guessed, “Lunch with Apple CEO Tim Cook at Apple Headquarters in Cupertino” is a charity effort that supports the RFK Center for Justice and Human Rights. The meeting will take place at Caffe Macs, which is the Apple cafeteria, at the 1 Infinite Loop campus in Cupertino, California.

The last time this happened, over half a million dollars were raised ($610,000 / €440,000), so you can be sure it’ll cost you more than the current bid – $62,500 / €45,150 (at the time of this writing) – to sit down with the big kahuna.

The “estimated value” of the whole experience is $100,000 / €72,300, which is essentially an incentive for bidders to dig deep into their pockets and make it count. Which is certainly good, since the richest 1% of adults in the world own 40% of the planet's wealth, according to some studies. Anyone with less than a yacht and a garage full of Lambos probably doesn’t stand a chance is all I’m saying.
