Hacker David Wang (@planetbeing) says his team doesn’t want to waste exploits

Apple has finally blocked the evasi0n jailbreak in iOS 6.1.3, patching an additional four exploits used by the software to circumvent the iOS security. The hackers behind the tool, however, have some exploits to spare.

Only problem is they’re not willing to burn them to re-enable jailbreaking in iOS 6.1.3 with evasi0n. Exploitable bugs in Apple’s iOS have become so hard to come by that the US government will pay a hacker in the hundreds of dollars to get their hands on the goods, knowledgeable people say.

David Wang (@planetbeing) is one of the hackers behind evasi0n. He tells Forbes that his team has “a backup supply of secret bugs in iOS that they’re saving for future jailbreak tools.”

However, the hackers don’t plan to waste them on creating a new tool that supports iOS 6.1.3. “We’ll probably wait until the next major release,” Wang tells the business mag.
