14 DAY TRIAL // HBO has updated MAX GO, the streaming service from Cinemax that offers instant access to over 400 of the biggest Hollywood hit movies, indie titles, and Max After Dark Series.
MAX GO 2.1 for iPhone and iPad now includes AirPlay multitasking capabilities, meaning “other apps can be used while video continues to stream via AirPlay,” according to the release notes.
The developers behind the app also carried out some maintenance in the form of “general performance enhancements,” which should ensure smoother playback on old-generation devices.
According to the description up on iTunes, MAX GO requires iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPod touch (3rd generation), iPod touch (4th generation), iPod touch (5th generation), iPad, and iOS 4.3 or newer.
