Google’s handy YouTube Capture is now available as a native app for Apple tablets. Thanks to a new update, the application is now universal, meaning all iDevice owners now get a proper version for their respective hardware.

Google Capture 1.2 is the first version of the app to deliver native support for iPads, large and small. Here’s the official confirmation from Google.

“New for iPad and iPad mini. Film a video and instantly make it YouTube-ready with background music, auto color correction, and auto stabilization. You can upload your video to YouTube and share to Facebook, Twitter, and Google+ at the same time.”

The software now works with all iDevices that support iOS 5 and newer versions. In other words, the requirements are now iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPod touch (3rd generation), iPod touch (4th generation), iPod touch (5th generation) and iPad.
