After having promoted its Chrome 41 web browser to the stable channel on March 3, 2015, for GNU/Linux, Mac OS X, and Microsoft Windows operating systems, today Google has updated the Chrome for iOS web browser to version 41 with better search suggestions.

The new feature is called “Get your answer faster” and it’s actually an improvement to the built-in search suggestions that now include answers to all sorts of topics, such as stocks, weather, and many others.

In addition, Google Chrome 41 for iOS lets users easily open links that have been copied from other application, adds stability improvements, and fixes many of those annoying bugs that have been reported since Google Chrome 40, which was released on February 17, 2015.

Today Google has also updated Hangouts for iOS to version 3.0.0, an application that offers free messaging, video and voice communications to iPhone and iPad users. The new Hangouts app comes with support for copying and pasting images into conversations, as well as performance improvements, and the regular bug fixes.

Both applications are now available for update via the App Store on iTunes, so just open it from your iPhone or iPad device and you should see the new Google Chrome 41 and Hangouts 3.0.0 apps in the Updates section (see the article’s image for details).
