Google has released a new version of its social networking client app for iOS customers, Google+ 4.5.0, which beefs up on integration with another service from the Mountain View search giant (Google Drive).

With Google+ 4.5.0 on your iPhone or iPad, you can now view, edit, and share photos stored in Google Drive.

The software now sports Google Apps domain support, allowing users to restrict posts to the domain and domain icons to identify members.

Finally, Google briefly informs its user base that the Hangouts app officially replaces Messenger for communications (messaging and video calls). Users looking to download their Messenger data are invited to visit Google Takeout.

Google+ is compatible with most iDevices currently in circulation and requires iOS 6.0.
