So when you stumble upon an iPhone game dubbed “Gold Diggers,” you might think you’re in for a tabloid wrapped inside an app. But you’d be wrong.
Gamistry’s Gold Diggers is actually a very innocent – free-of-charge, mind you – puzzler where you follow a team of notorious gold seekers, “while you take control of one of the wild west's best kept secrets: Gigantic Superlicious Steam-Punk Digging Trams.”
Your (obvious) goal is to snag some gold by steering the Digging Machine through multiple layers of the earth’s crust. Be careful not to hit those giant worms, flame pillars and other dangers in your quest for the precious metal.
If you have an iPhone 3GS with iOS 4.3, you’re good to go. The game runs natively on iPads too.
