Vodafone is back with a new notice for its UK customers, though the memo should target everyone on the planet using an iPhone on the operator’s network. In short, iOS 6.1.1 is good to go.

Vodafone Tech Team member Phil writes on the company’s forum, “Apple has released a new version of its iPhone software that fixes the 3G performance issues that have been affecting users of the iPhone 4s who had installed iOS 6.1.”

Speaking on behalf of the carrier, Phil says, “Please download the latest version – iOS 6.1.1 – from Apple as soon as you can as this will deal with these issues.”

This past weekend, the same Vodafone staffer revealed that iOS 6.1 was suffering from connectivity issues, stating, “we would recommend that anyone who has not yet installed iOS 6.1 on their iPhone 4s should delay doing so until Apple has confirmed that their problem has been fixed.”

Well, the problem has been fixed now. Download via OTA or manually using the IPSW from the link below.
