14 DAY TRIAL // Apple has released GarageBand 1.3, an update to its music-making application for iOS devices. Users can now employ the app to create their very own ringtones and alerts for iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.
The custom-ringtone feature is particularly awesome because you get to make your own iPhone ringtones and alerts, on your iPhone.
GarageBand 1.3 also imports songs from the Music library on your iOS device. You can now play or record with GarageBand open in the background while using other apps, and you can do so worry-free because both performance and stability have been improved as well.
GarageBand requires iOS 5.1 or later but also works on iOS 6, the latest version of Apple’s mobile operating system. It’s compatible with iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPod touch (3rd generation), iPod touch (4th-generation), iPod touch (5th-generation) and iPad.
