GBA4iOS has released version 2.0 of its cool GameBoy emulator for iPhone and iPad that doesn’t require a jailbreak and now includes a ROM browser.

Redesigned for iOS 7, GBA4iOS 2.0 offers native iPad compatibility and support for Game Boy Color games. Other new features include cheats, iOS 7 controller support, Dropbox sync, custom controller skins, and a sustain button.

According to the developers, all you need to do to download ROMs is to tap the plus button in the top right corner, launch the in-app web browser, open any ROM site, and download the game you want.

“Begin the download, and it'll automatically appear for you to play when it's done,” says the team.

It is also worth noting that it’s illegal to do this unless you actually own the game you’re downloading as a ROM.

MacRumors reports that “Apple has revoked the enterprise certificate that GBA4iOS used to install itself on iOS devices, which means installs now require setting a device date back to February 18, 2014 before downloading the software.” Users can revert to the current date and time after installation.

On the GBA4iOS site, users can download GBA4iOS 2.0 free of charge by tapping on the link from their iPhone or iPad.
