Fart apps aren’t exactly my cup of tea, and to be completely frank, I think they give iTunes a bad rep. But Wilma Farts is different. Very different.

The children’s book “Wild Wilma farts” is taking a leap into the digital world with Wilma Farts for iPhone and iPad. It’s a kids app, but you can go right ahead and download it (regardless of your age) for guaranteed laughter.

Narrator Elin Juhlin reads the whole book aloud. It’s educative for the youngsters, funny as hell for adults. Give it a try. You won’t be disappointed. Here’s an excerpt from the description, just to get you going.

“It starts when Wild Wilma wakes up in the morning and continues all the way to pre-school. She is very proud of her cool farts that sound like real rockets! At lunchtime, a couple of farts unexpectedly sneak out. Oops! All of a sudden the smell of pea soup is not the only smell around the table…”

Pea soup? That doesn’t sound right!

By the way, Wilma Farts is now free.
