Zhen Ding Technology Holding (ZDT), an affiliate of Foxconn Electronics (Hon Hai Precision Industry), is expected to see increased profits thanks to new orders from Apple, which is poised to refresh its entire iDevice lineup this fall.

Sales of flexible PCBs (printed circuit boards) are expected to account for 50% of total sales of Zhen Ding Technology Holding this year, thanks to orders from Apple, reports DigiTimes citing the usual industry sources.

Those PCBs are the flex cables mounted around the displays of Apple’s iPhone, iPad, and iPod devices used to connect various parts together. For example, the iPhone uses two such flex cables for the camera assembly and the Home button mounted on the phone’s touch panel, which also holds the Retina display.

Apple Inc. will launch a new iPhone come September 12, followed by an iPad mini and iPod refresh at a separate event in October, pundits say.
