Codemasters’ awesome GRID racer is zooming onto the Mac on March 28, according to Feral Interactive, the company handling the OS X port of the stunning racing game.

A brief announcement on the Feral Interactive site confirms that GRID is coming to the Mac.

“Gear up for the ride of your life with this exhilarating mix of sweet handling, dazzling visuals and blistering speed,” says the company. “GRID puts you behind the wheel of the world’s premiere high-performance race cars and then sets you loose on the world’s most spectacular tracks.”

According to Feral, “Racing on the Mac just got exciting again.” The game sports tracks all across the US, Europe and Japan, as well as a career mode, damage mode, adjustable difficulty settings and a “flashback” feature that lets you rewind the time to avoid getting totaled.

“GRID rides the sweet spot between sim realism and addictive arcade racing,” Feral adds.

No system requirements just yet, but we’ll be sure to let you know the moment Feral has the specs ready.
