A free and open source library which allows developers to integrate Facebook assets into their iOS applications, Facebook iOS SDK just got a brand new update with some bug fixes.

Facebook iOS SDK 3.11.1 is by no means a major new update, but for those of you having problems with FBRequestConnection, this highly incremental release might just be a life saver.

According to the release notes, version 3.11.1 fixes “a bug in FBRequestConnection which was causing crashes when refreshing an access token.”

Like I said, nothing too fancy for the general population, but certainly great news for developers whose apps rely on Facebook integration.

Facebook offers this github resource for detailed instructions on how to use the Facebook iOS SDK to integrate the social network with your iOS applications. You can download Facebook iOS SDK on most Mac configurations, but you’ll need Apple’s Xcode toolset as well.
