14 DAY TRIAL // Facebook has released a highly anticipated update for users of its iOS application enabling voice messages and a new ability to record and share videos straight from the app on your iDevice.
Facebook says version 5.4 is all about “sharing your moments with voice messages and video recordings right in the app.”
The new version lets you send voice messages when you’re too lazy to jot down your thoughts using the (sometimes cumbersome) virtual keyboard.
It also lets you record and share videos straight from the dedicated Facebook app on your iDevice. Using the improved Nearby tab, you now also share and connect with your favorite places.
The app continues to be compatible with iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPod touch (3rd generation), iPod touch (4th generation), iPod touch (5th generation) and all iPad models. It only requires iOS 4.3.
