Evernote has released a new version of its scribbling app, Skitch. Version 2.0.3 includes improvements and optimizations, as well as a new WYSIWYG text editor.

WYSIWYG, an acronym for “what you see is what you get,” is a system where content displayed onscreen during editing appears in a form closely corresponding to its appearance when printed.

It goes the same for both text and graphics, and you can now use it in Skitch, the Evernote-developed app that lets you employ shapes, arrows, sketches and text annotation to get your point across.

The update also brings “numerous improvements that make the app more stable and responsive,” according to the developers.

Skitch is compatible with iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPod touch (3rd generation), iPod touch (4th generation), iPod touch (5th generation) and iPad, and requires iOS 5.0 or later. The app is optimized for iPhone 5.
