Evernote is out with a couple of updates for its iOS applications, including the flagship Evernote client for iPhone and iPad, as well as Skitch, the annotations tool.

Evernote version 7.1 now lets you see your notes displayed on a map, and you can customize your home screen layout with ease. The updated version lets you create new Saved Searches from the search results screen, and if you want to remove a Saved Search, simply swipe left.

Several bug fixes and other enhancements are incorporated as well, but Evernote Inc. doesn’t feel like elaborating. Same goes for the Skitch 3.0.3 update. The company says it has thrown in “Bug fixes and miscellaneous improvements.”

Evernote’s apps now require iOS 7.0 to run. Device compatibility starts at iPhone 4.
