Dropbox, the immensely popular file-sharing and storage service available on pretty much every platform there is, has added the nifty ability to view PDFs in a more elegant manner on iOS devices.

Dropbox 2.1 for iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad lets you view your PDF files in “an all-new PDF viewer,” according to the release notes. Indeed the feature is extremely elegant and easy to use (not to mention it’s free, as Dropbox itself is free).

You now get to receive a push notification when someone shares a folder with you, and you can sort your files by the date at which they were modified.

Dropbox works with iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPod touch (3rd generation), iPod touch (4th generation), iPod touch (5th generation) and iPad, and requires iOS 5.0 or later.
