Communications app Viber has received a fresh software update this weekend to include code tweaks for iOS 7 support, as well as some bug fixes here and there.

Viber Media Inc. is not wasting any time waiting for iOS 7 to be deployed on September 18. So the company has prepared and already deployed its new Viber iOS client, which supports the new firmware beforehand.

In addition to supporting iOS 7, Viber version 3.1.4 also delivers some bug fixes for customers who’ve had less than a great experience. Localized in dozens of languages and available free of charge for all iDevices, Viber still only requires just iOS 4.3 to run.

Compatibility starts with iPhone 3GS devices, third-generation iPod touches, and even the first iPads. Anything newer than that is a go.
