ooVoo LLC is offering a new version of its successful video calling application for iOS, delivering an “entirely new user experience,” with enhanced group calling views, separate sections for messages, a new friend management module, and more.

The improved video calling design includes filters available during the video call, and you can now take snapshots of your chats.

A highly-requested feature, picture messaging, is now available, along with video messaging. Group Video & Voice Calling is now included, and the Me screen includes a profile featuring video, photo, and text status updates.

The Friends screen allows you to see video, photo, and text, as well as status messages and you can search ooVoo, Facebook, Twitter, Google, and your personal contact list to add new people to your buddies list.

You can now review your messages and conversation history, and store all the pictures you send and receive on ooVoo. New languages include English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Russian, Portuguese, Turkish, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Korean, and Japanese.
