Apple this week released a patch for iTunes 11 users addressing a number of problems involving iTunes Extras, podcasts, and the stability of the application.

Available for both Mac and Windows customers, iTunes 11.1.1 “resolves an issue that may cause iTunes Extras to display incorrectly, fixes a problem with deleted podcasts, and improves stability.”

As an incremental update to the iTunes 11 branch, this new version also includes the major new features introduced by Apple last month, including iTunes Radio, Genius Shuffle, Podcast Stations, iOS 7 compatibility, and more.

iTunes 11.1.1 for OS X weighs in at 225.6 MB, whereas the Windows build is just shy of 100 MB. On the Mac, iTunes 11 requires Mac OS X 10.6.8 (Snow Leopard) or later, while PC users need Windows XP Service Pack 2 or later, Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8.
