Apple has released new iTunes builds for Mac and Windows customers addressing the very same bugs that were causing iOS 7 testers to experiennce unexpected downloads and / or playback from iCloud.

Earlier this week Apple seeded a new iOS 7 beta addressing issues with iCloud functionality. Just a day after the iOS 7 Beta 6 seeding took place, Apple released an iTunes update for Mac and Windows users addressing the exact same issue.

According to a tech note on Apple’s Support site, iTunes 11.0.5 “corrects an issue with iTunes in the Cloud, where some purchases may download or play unexpected items.”

For OS X users, the new iTunes weighs in at 187MB, while Windows customers will download a smaller 85MB update. iTunes 11.0.5 goes onto OS X 10.6.8 (Snow Leopard) or newer, and Windows XP Service Pack 2 or later.
