Remote desktop solutions vendor iTeleport Inc. has announced a fresh update for its iOS install base, promising to fix some of the issues encountered by users of its iPhone and iPad clients for remote controlling computers that are out of reach.

For the rather expensive purchase price of $24.99 / €21.99, iTeleport offers full control of your computer's mouse and keyboard, regardless of where you are around the world.

The software offers a rich visual experience and displays your computer screen without any resolution limitation. For those of you asking, yes, it can even put Windows 8 on your iPhone or iPad.

Version 6.1.6 is out today with a bunch of fixes, including a code correction for hardware keyboard mapping for modifier keys, a bug fix that specifically targets VNC connections, the developers say. In addition to that, iTeleport 6.1.6 includes “minor updates,” according to the release notes.
