Now you can find videos, playlists, and channels in the same search results

The official YouTube app from Google has received a fresh update on iOS platforms, adding the ability to find videos, playlists, and channels in search results, all crammed together.

According to the release notes for YouTube version 2.3.0, users will be able to “find videos, playlists and channels together in search results.”

Users can search for playlists and use the “play all” button for endless playback, as well as share videos via Google+, email, Facebook, and Twitter.

The update further includes new settings for positioning and formatting captions / subtitles, as well as an iOS 7-compatible keyboard.

Other improvements are scattered throughout the new YouTube app, which users will undoubtedly notice after updating. To download YouTube 2.3.0 you’ll need an iPhone, iPod touch, or iPad running iOS 6.0 or later.

Google offers numerous localization options for the app, including English, Arabic, Norwegian, Chinese, Croatian, Czech, Danish, Dutch, Finnish, French, German, Greek, Hebrew, Hungarian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, and more.
