Blogging platform WordPress is getting a leg up on iOS with a lot of fixed bugs, improved notification settings, an enhanced Jetpack setup mechanism and more.
WordPress version 3.5.2 disables autosaves “until they are more stable,” improves the Jetpack setup process and Notification settings, and deals a blow to numerous crashing bugs, according to the release notes.
Automattic mentions three additional issues in the release notes, including a bug where the editor would stay on portrait when using iOS5, credential issues for WordPress.com blogs with custom domains, and a problem with previews when email is used to log in.
WordPress 3.5.2 is compatible with iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPod touch (3rd generation), iPod touch (4th generation), iPod touch (5th generation) and iPad. The app requires iOS 5.0 or later and is fully optimized for iPhone 5.
