14 DAY TRIAL // WhatsApp Messenger, the popular cross-platform instant messaging app by WhatsApp Inc., has been updated for iOS devices with new fixes and numerous optimization and improvements.
WhatsApp Messenger version 2.8.7 fixes multimedia sharing in iOS 4.3, a bug that the development team apologizes for taking so long to address.
iOS 6 installations now open shared locations in the native Maps app, and the "All Media" navigation flow has been fixed as well.
Many bug fixes and crash fixes have been incorporated, alongside other optimizations and improvements, says WhatsApp Inc.
The software is compatible with iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPod touch (3rd generation), iPod touch (4th generation), iPod touch (5th generation) and iPad and requires iOS 4.3 or later.
The app is optimized for iPhone 5 and comes with support for over a dozen different languages, including Chinese, Japanese, Korean and Vietnamese.
