Still requires only iOS 3.0, which makes it compatible with even the first iPhone

UC Browser, arguably one of the most popular mobile web browsers out there, is also one of the few iOS apps left to support version 3.0 of Apple’s mobile operating system. Grab it now before its system requirements are upgraded.

Last updated in October right after the iPhone 5 and iOS 6 came out, UC Browser 8.5.0.195 adds social media sharing features, a download manager, enhanced auto-fill functions, find-in-page, and full support for iOS 6.

However, the fact that UC Browser 8.5 supports iOS 6 doesn’t mean this is a requirement to run the app. Far from it, actually.

According to the specs sheet, UC Browser still requires only iOS 3.0 to run, which makes it compatible with every single iDevice ever churned up by Apple, including the original iPhone and iPod touch.
