The immensely popular UC Browser has reached version 9.0 on iOS after a long period of beta testing, as a jailbreak-only app. UC Browser 9.0.0.260 Final is immediately available for all iDevices running iOS 4.3 or later.

UC Browser 9.0.0.260 now allows users to transfer files between phones and computers under the same Wi-Fi network, while the quick menu boasts more powerful functions, “allowing you to get what you want, faster.”

A new home page has been added with options to organize shortcuts. It works similarly to the iOS springboard, in that you can long-press any icon to start jiggle mode and begin moving it about.

Another new feature is the browsing mode switch. “Sometimes you want to browse webpages fast, and other times you want to view their full features. You can now easily switch between these preferences,” according to the developers.

Other new features include multi-device cloud sync, and support for more file formats.
