Twitter Inc. has released an update for users of its microblogging app on iOS devices delivering a bunch of fixes that make the app snappier and more stable.
If you’ve been having issues with connectivity, the timeline, photos, shortened links, or anything that gets heavily used on Twitter, you should update to the latest version.
Twitter Inc. doesn’t specify which bugs are actually squashed in the new release, but after updating my Twitter client on my iPhone 5, I can safely say the app feels more robust.
If you're relying on Twitter to get a word out to people, do consider this update.
Twitter 5.2.1 is compatible with iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPod touch (3rd generation), iPod touch (4th generation), iPod touch (5th generation) and iPad and requires iOS 5.0 or later. The app is fully optimized for the iPhone 5.
