If you like to watch all of your favorite gaming videos on the go, you most likely have the TwitchTV app installed on your iPhone or iPad. The developers have issued an update which might pique your interest.
TwitchTV version 2.3.1 adds Twitch Turbo support, which the company doesn’t elaborate on, but you can be sure it has something to do with data transfer speeds. Read “smoother video playback.”
The second enhancement noted in the changelog is support for blocking users in chat. Read, “‘nuff trolling button.”
Third, gaming aficionados also get support for mod actions (including ban, timeout, voice, op people) on their own live stream.
A bug that would cause the app to freeze up after logging in has been addressed, and some miscellaneous crashes have been fixed as well.
TwitchTV works with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad and requires iOS 5.0 or later. The app is optimized for iPhone 5.
