14 DAY TRIAL // With all the WWDC commotion some of you might have missed a major new update from the fine gents at Tapbots. That’s right, we’re talking about the new Tweetbot 2.8 for iOS.
Released in tandem for both iPhone and iPad customers, Tweetbot 2.8 features a new media timeline that lets you scroll to the top and switch to the new media view (next to the search box).
According to the developers, this view only shows supported image and video tweets.
The image viewer has been completely redesigned, and the tweet/status detail view will now show the number of Favs and Retweets you have. Instagram Previews has undergone some fixes, and so have other areas of the app.
Tweetbot is compatible with iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPod touch (3rd generation), iPod touch (4th generation), iPod touch (5th generation), and iPad. The app runs on iOS 5.0 or later.
