14 DAY TRIAL // Electronic Arts has released The Sims FreePlay 3.6.0, a new version of its mobile life sim for iPhone and iPad players, which brings back the little green alien with more technological advancements from his home planet, including the Weather Machine.
Thanks to the alien’s weather-controlling contraption, players can now harness the power of Mother Nature to make it snow in housing lots, bring on the rain with some cool lightning effects, and choose between daytime and nighttime.
Also new in this release is the ability to build a Snow Park where you can play with your Sims; Figure Skating Hobby, where you can increase you Sims’ skating skills and unlock medals and bonuses; snow-wear (beanies and ear muffs); a range of new Home Store items (heaters, fans, and some decorative lights).
The game remains compatible with all iDevices that support iOS 4.3 and is a free download (though you must be careful with those in-app purchases around the kids).
