Electronic Arts’ “The Simpsons: Tapped Out” is now at level 37. Available immediately for all iDevice owners with iOS 5 installed, the updated city-building game promises to bring some parental dysfunction.

A city-building game that lets you create your own Springfield, The Simpsons: Tapped Out is free to download and play, but has in-app purchases that can run into the hundreds of dollars if you become an addict. Or if money isn’t your primary concern, of course.

Version 4.5.2 is out today with Level 37 which, according to EA, “brings Milhouse some parental dysfunction with Kirk and Luann.”

Two new buildings are open (The Bachelor Arms and Office of Unemployment). New characters are to be had as well. Players can “watch Kirk and Luann Van Houten's flounder at their businesses. In a new quest, you can “relive your parents' divorce... this time through Milhouse,” according to the release notes.

New decorations include Fleet-A-Pita, the Southern Cracker Fountain, and others which EA leaves the players to discover in-game.
